Peer pressure is one of the leading problems of adolescence. Peer pressure can be to spoke weed, to drink alcohol, to dress differently, to change yourself physically to make friends, and maybe, to a lesser extent, to not study for a test to go see a movie.
All teenagers, and all people go through peer pressure -- it's not just in high school.
And it’s not only me - it’s the same with any other single teenager.
You don’t feel the pressure directly but you know that you are judged for your status. Well, many get into short relationships or hook with someone for the night just so they could feel that they are on the same line as their peers. It all starts with your peers judging you for not being “cool” in that sense and it makes you feel like you are not on the same line as them that often leads to some sort of disconnection with them, in the end.
Some of the practices that the masses follow may actually teach you the way of living. Looking at what others do, can help you bring about a positive change in your way of thinking.
If you can pick selectively, peer pressure can actually result in a positive change in your way of life.
If they're pressured into drinking alcohol, this can lead to addiction, alcoholism, recklessness, and even alcohol poisoning, which can lead to death.
